The company sent me a package and I had never ordered from them

I came home to find a package had been delivered with a man's first name, my correct last name and correct address and I had never even heard of this company nor had I ordered from Hearthware in Gurnee, IL. I immediately called FedEx and arranged for them to come and pick the package up and return it to sender. I'm hoping it's not a scam thing and I'm wondering how they shipped whatever it is if they were not paid in advance. They will be hearing from me tomorrow. I plan on calling and getting to the bottom of this immediately.

1. Written by clerk, on 10-03-2009 06:45 fedex is just the delivery comp the shipper is the one who paid fedex to deliver and the shipper is the one who put the address info on the package....why would you think fedex is labeling packages for shippers????? Report
