I was expecting a package from overseas. A FedEx broker contacted me and insisted on my SSN in order to release my package.

Instead of giving them my personal information, I called Fish and Wildlife and they released my package. FedEx apologized, released the package, then billed me $108 even though they admittedly filed incorrect paperwork.

They did nothing to get my package through customs, I did. When I called the FedEx billing department to dispute paying the broker for a botched job, they referred me to three different people, two different departments, and none of them knew how to correct this.

Monetary Loss: $108.

Did YOU pay the customs charge?? If not, FedEx did, therefore you owe them.
