I get FedEx deliveries often, but some drivers seem TOTALLY INCOMPETENT.
Without exception I am told that a package was delivered but on two of the last 4 deliveries "delivered" deems to be a misnomer.
We live on a 500-foot driveway with an excellent turn around for any sized truck short of an 18-wheeler. UPS, USPS and ALL OTHERS have little problems, but some FedEx drivers seem to just be lazy.
Recently a driver who "delivered" a FedEx envelope just threw it out of his vehicle in the middle of the driveway about 250 feet from the home.
He seemed to think that was good enough even though rain was forecast.
The latest "delivery" was made by throwing the package out of the window into bushes beside our rural mailbox. Again, we received a "delivered" message but without crawling through the bushes we would not have been able to find it.
I do have to say that most deliveries are made well, but when a lazy driver delivers, it is totally unacceptable.
When calling the FedEx "800 GoFedex" number, a guy with a thick foreign accent (called Joe or Bill or ???) answers and says that "FedEx cannot accept complaints at this 'busy' time".
There is no other way to contact them or to get a local dispatch phone number. The Website is TOTALLY without help, and they do not accept emailed communication.
User's recommendation: If you can... Use UPS or USPS or an independent (NON FedEx) service.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
