I purchased glasses from a company that ended up being located in England. Then they shipped from Hong Kong. I signed for the package and three weeks later, FedEx bills ME for the shipping when the purchase stated "Free shipping."
I called customer service who kept interrupting my sentences and telling me they were going to "educate" me.
This is bait and switch. I did not agree to pay shipping and they tell me the shipper can decide to bill the recipient.
Really? Then come an pick the package up and return it--and by the way--BILL THEM for the shipping back to Hong Kong.
But they won't do that. Why? If the shipper can do it to me, why can't I do it to them?
The customer service rep was rude, condescending and would never let me finish a sentence.
I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well.
They did not tell me when I signed for the package that they were charging ME $30 for shipping for each shippment! (They were shipped separately-2) I would have refused the packages.
