Anyone ever been told that the price you're billed when you drop off a FED EX package is actually a QUOTE!! Yep, you may have a receipt in hand with one price, but FED EX reserves the right to bill you something else saying it's just an "estimate".
I've been billed a higher cost twice in the last month - have receipt in hand from the shipping office with one cost and on my monthly billing statement (since I opened an account with them) was billed a higher amount. When I called in to inquire, I was told that I should always wait for the final bill to see the ACTUAL cost, and that the cost given at a shipping office isn't always accurate. WHAT???!!! So I have to wait two weeks for my account to be billed before I can send a receipt to my end clients for reimbursement???
Come on, Fed Ex - don't waste my time measuring and weighing my packages to only give me a phony piece of paper that guarantees no proof of what I might actually be charged.
