I STILL have received no word, no apology, no effort to make it right from Federal Express. Amazingly,Fed Ex ran my expensive gift through a roller machine, apparently threw the box away when it popped out from the rugged treatment of their customer supplied envelope, and delivered an empty, torn and battered envelope to me...no gift enclosed. BEWARE THAT IF YOU SEND ANYTHING except flat paper in their regular envelope, it stands a significant chance of being destroyed or thrown away.

WHY DOESN'T FEDERAL EXPRESS NOTIFY CUSTOMERS OF THIS???? It is not even in the small print anywhere.

Almost worse, THEY HAVE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO APOLOGIZE, REFUND ME, GIVE ME A FREE SHIPMENT...NOTHING!

While I believe Fed Ex does a good job, this part of their operation, and the secrecy behind it is baffling, to say the least.

You can do better than this Federal Express, both for me and for all the billions of customers who rely on your integrity and honesty.
