FedEx charged me on my credit card without telling me first. The reason given is the Brokerage Ancillary Service Fees ($108.00). I have no idea what it was and I have never ordered it. The explanation is "FedEx pays the broker on behalf of our customers...... to avoid service delays."

The problem is they held my package for longer than 15 days.

So, I got the feeling that FedEx intentionally held your package for extra long time and then asked a broker to intervene. Then the broker charged at any amount as he liked, because FedEx immediately transfers the extra charge to his customers (mainly through the customer's credit cards secretly). Now people even doubt if they have the so-called "broker" or not.

My question is why they did not inform you beforehand that there would be extra charge before they make the delivery. Why did not they give you a choice if you still want it if an extra charge will be applied? Why did not they tell you what made them decide the amount of extra charge?
