I have made several purchases through walmart.com the last couple of days. All my packages are scheduled for delivery between today and saturday.
A couple coming ups and 6 coming fedex. Today i "recieved" package #1. Fedex guy rolls through neighborhood at 2 p.m., didnt see him stop so im thinking "ok, must be lost, must be delivering to someone else, ect." Check tracking online. "Package has been delivered, no signature" hmmm that funny, im a sahm, beem home allllll day, no package.
Call customer service, they open claim, very nice man spoken with, says theyll follow up in 2hrs, cool. 3:30, get call from local fedex, Conover NC, chick says" driver dropped the package at apt 2 thinking it was townhouse B"....2 and B are two totally difcerent things??? "Hes not used to this route"....not my problem, he can read right? He can use a gps right?....."im sorry, if youll check and see if its at apt.2 ill call ypu back in 20 mins to confirm"......umm no #1 i shouldnt have to hunt down my package, that is your drivers job to get it to the correct address, not assume, and leave ut where ever, i was outside at the time, if he was unsure he should hace stopped to ask, common sense.
#2 once i get my package i will be contacting corprate. Get package, contact corprate, willbe following up with them in the a.m. Its not your customers place to have to hunt down packages, i have 5 more coming from these people, customer service at conover branch is horrible, no wonder you people get such horrible feed back.
Will never be using fedex again. And fyi ups also delivered a packave today and had no issues finding me.
