Fedex claims 2nd delivery when no slip had been left for first delivery. When I signed the door tag to request that package be left, the slip was picked up, but package was not left.
No indication was left when slip was picked up. I called Fedex representative to arrange for delivery on a specific date, waited for the delivery, no delivery was made for the scheduled date! I made subsequent call to Fedex and was told that since three attempts had been made to deliver my package (BS), they will not attempt to deliver my package again unless it was re-routed to different address. In spite of telephone number which was provided, nobody had attempted to contact me to provide any information regarding WHY package was not deliverd!
The only option was for me to finally DRIVE(from NY to NJ) to FEDEX ground terminal to retrive my package.
If this is the non-service that FEDEX provides, then packages should be sent using other means.
