Not resolved

I used FedEx to ship a piece of furniture from California to Oregon. The FedEx representative reviewed my packaging before I left it, and assured me that it would arrive safely.

Of course I shouldn't have been surprised then, when a pile of firewood (oh wait that used to be my workbench) arrived at my door, and the delivery driver tried to slip off without so much as a word. FedEx denied my initial claim, citing improper packaging, despite the fact that their representative approved said packaging.

So in addition to losing a substantively and sentimentally valuable piece of furniture, I'm out $150 which they charged me for the interstate delivery of firewood, which I'll probably now have to pay someone else to dispose of. I AM SO SATISFIED WITH MY FEDEX EXPERIENCE!
