Fed Ex said the glass on my antique clock was broken and they took my clock to the garbage dump and discarded it without my knowledge or consent. I notified Katy Joyner at Roanoke, Va.

Fed Ex shipping center and she told me her staff could have handled the situation more professionally, but that they can't call everyone who has a damaged package.

Instead, Joyner said, Fed Ex takes the damaged packages to the dump, per company policy. I want my clock back or compensation equal to the value of the clock ($1,500) and I want FedEx people responsible disciplined or fired....and the company policy reviewed and changed immediately.

Product or Service Mentioned: Fedex Delivery Service.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $1500.

Preferred solution: refund and discipline employees responsible.

I didn't like: Managers attitude and lack of sensitivity.
