Fedex is apparently trying hard to ruin a lot of kids christmas this year. Ordered gifts 2 weeks ago with expedited shipping.
The retailer shipped the next day. After not receiving the packages on the delivery date, i checked tracking on fedex site. The packages have been sitting in Orlando for over a week. Called fedex and they in told me the Orlando hub is backed up and there are trailers sitting there that have not even been opened.
I asked about delivery before christmas since the missing package has gifts for a 5 year old. Basically the customer rep told me probably not. I am like most people and dont have the extra disposable income to run out and buy more gifts to replace the ones that are just sitting in a trailer. Even if i did, the stores are out of stock on the only gifts she asked for.
I didnt wait til the last minute to order, i ordered weeks ago. There are no weather delays; i could accept that as being beyond their control. I saved up, purchased the gifts she asked santa for, ordered in a more than reasonable amount of time and yet i am now in a situation where there will be nothing to give her.
I have been up all night completly stressed out, trying to figure out what to do for christmas now. Thanks fedex, you have ruined christmas for a little girl whose time is running short on "believing".
This reviewer shared experience about problem with delivery and wants this business to read this review and look into the issue (if any). This person is overall dissatisfied with Fedex. Reviewer wants customer support to reach our to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.
