What a great place to vent! So we have lived here in Big Sur for 5 yrs now and we just can't seem to get the Fedex driver to perform deliveries to our door. It is the normal route driver that has an attitude and he just leaves our box in the street, in some one else's package box, or even puts it in the mail box. We use a P.O. Box most of the time and don't check the mail that often, so things are l likely stolen when left in the box or street for days.
We have gotten about 10 packages in the last year that got delivered "by accident" when a "temporary person" was filling in for the regular guy. These temporary drivers typically have no information and just figure it out with the address. We have gone online and called in about a dozen times with exact directions to get to our door including a gate code and driving up a 500ft pave driveway. So recently I decided that if they can not deliver a package that they can send it back to the shipper and use UPS or USPS.
I use UPS and USPS extensively for about 300 deliveries per year ( have an online business). I have had problems a few times with new UPS drivers, but they figure it out quickly on the next attempt.
It is difficult to determine the type of shipper used so every dozen or so packages goes by Fedex.
So if you are fed up with Fedex stop using them as much as possible and try UPS or USPS. USPS priority mail (flat rate boxes)has been great for shipping out in small volume.
I am currently working on IP cams to record this ridiculous employee of Fedex. Maybe make a good advertisement for why not to use them.
This person wrote the review because of problem with delivery at Fedex. Reviewer claimed that he or she wants Fedex to read this review and look into the issue (if any).
