I ordered a shipment of bialys from New York. While I do understand weather delays, FedEx makes no effort to clear up their backlog once highways are open again.

This is a perishable bread, which was finally marked 'out for delivery' this morning at 8:10 am. I waited all day - nothing. Finally, I checked again to see what was going on, and it was marked 'at FedEx facility' at 6:17 pm. This is not the first time this has happened with FedEx, and if you try calling, there's no answer.

If you call the main number, all you get are lies and arguments. This is after my package sat in Kenner, LA for two days, with the office closed and no one even there to sort and get ready to ship the package on. One would think that after losing so much time to weather delay, FedEx would be working overtime to clear up the backlog, but one would be wrong.

At FedEx, they're heading back to the facility at a set time, regardless of whether or not they've made their deliveries. The consumer, who makes their salaries possible, is irrelevant.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

I didn't like: Lying about putting a package on the truck for delivery.
