At this time FEDEX should be lowering the cost to ship boxes to Puerto Rico as they try to recover from the disaster of Hurricane Maria. With an infrastructure in place that can still deliver packages, they have an opportunity to be a part of the solution during PRs trying times yet they seem not to care about the fact that people are desperate to send their loved ones care packages during these times.

They seem to want to rape them financially. With that said, cut to me at the FEDEX Kinkos location in Morris Plains NJ trying to send a 5 pound box of candles and matches to PR because my father doesn't have light at night due to the power outage, one that will probably last for at least several months.

They wanted to charge me over $110 to ship it in 4 days. I was completely disgusted and will never send anything via FEDEX again.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

FedEx only does something like that for free or discounted if there's cameras rolling and they get good publicity from it. The only thing they care about is profit profit profit

Not sure why you would expect FedEx or any business to operate at a loss unless you are so used to expecting everything for free and have no understanding of what it takes to operate a business. If your father is in such dire straits, cost would be no object for you. You might also reflect on your relatives in PR and how much support they are giving to him, if any.
