I shipped wedding ring through FedEx, and the box arrived empty with new tape over the original cut tape. The company does not claim it was lost, rather it admits it was stolen while in their custody. However, they do not want to pay more than 1/4th the ring value. These people engage in criminal conduct ( via their employees) and then cling to liability limits established for lose control, rather than accepting their criminal conduct voids civil liability. The emotional loss is compounded by these creeps refusal to pay for their employee theft.

FedEx took my rings, and delivered an sealed, empty box to cover their theft in hopes that the jeweler would accept it. Instead the jeweler opened it while at the FedEx counter, and flung the box empty.

Monetary Loss: $6500.
