Paid extra for overnight / Saturday deliver, sender ( Verizon ) insisted on signature, had to have package before 6am Monday. Was home all morning, we have a LOUD doorbell. Got message that delivery attempt failed cause customer was not there. Checked door, door tag stating same. WTF, was sitting in kitchen at that time about 6 ft from doorbell.
Called kept stating sorry, then stated they would contact dispatch and i would get callback shortly. shortly later checked status, package was back at depot, called again, stated sorry nothing we can do but retry Monday,
I had to drive to their depot ( 23 miles /30 minutes each way ) to retrieve package THEY were to deliver.
This is not first time they have left DT when someone was home.
THEY SUCK, USPS or UPS many times better
