My Package from the US is held in customs in Guayaquil, Ecuador 4 months. Fedex tells me to contact a local shipper (Entregas).
They ask for a detailed listing of the items. I do this but they do nothing. Now Fedex tells me I have to pay $700 and fill out forms because the package is supposedly "abandoned" $700 is about the value of the merchandise. I would rather buy it again.
I am out about $800. Fedex blames the local shipper who in turn blame customs.
Fedex has done nothing to resolve this problem. Of course I will avoid Fedex in the future.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $925.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
I didn't like: Untimely customer dispute response.
