Shipped an online sale to customer using FedEx shipping and insurance.. hard plastic *** on item was shattered upon arrival.
Had packed very , very well, using bubblewrap, newspapers, extra cardboard in top and bottom of box, and box exterior stated which end up, and "fragile".. even though it was not really a fragile item. FedX denied the insurance claim... customer had to return to me, and I issued full refund...
paying shipping again! I'm out of $40 shipping and have a broken $175 returned item. I have shipped at least 25 of these same items in the last year with UPS and USPS, with only one incident evolving partial damges .. and that shipper was quick to issue insurance claim refund, and shipping refund.
Not fedex through.. these guys are crooks!
