Over a month ago I ordered a product and they use SmartPost which means they drop your pkgs off at the local post office for delivery. I followed the tracking but my pkg never showed up.
I followed the trail and because it is SmartPost they say it was delivered so it is a case of he said she said and to this day I have never received my pkg. Now for an update. I got tired of waiting so ordered another order of the exact same product. Then a few days later ordered some other things from the same company.
I was notified that all 3 pkgs were at my local post office and since I live in an RV park for the winter the park has a main address and they pick up all mail. I got the last 2 shipments and the product that was reordered still never showed up. FedEx says they delivered it, the post office says they gave it to the park Mgr, the park Mgr says he has never signed for it and I still do not have the original or the 2nd order of that same pkg. I have paid for the product twice now and not received it.
The P.O. says that FedEx just drops it all off and they never know what is there. So I got tired of the whole thing. I called the State Office of Consumer Affairs and got nowhere so I called Washington D.C.
office of Consumer Affairs and I filed a grievance. Well the trail lead back to the trio of original people involved FedEx, P.O. and my park Mgr. I still have no resolution and no way to get anywhere with this.
I want my pkg. Whatever happened to the old way where the mail got delivered in snow and sleet no matter what. I am so sick and tired if people passing the buck here. When a person orders something they expect to get it.
This is not a case of porch pirates either because this is an elderly senior mecca in Quartzsite. AZ and I would have to pick up my pkg from the park office if it ever got here.
The company I bought from only uses the SmartPost feature so I had no other choice for getting my package. So frustrated and I live on a fixed income so really can't afford to order things and not get them.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $35.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
FedEx Cons: Delivery not made, Lost 2 pkgs never delivered.
