I ordered a chair from Amazon last week. The chair was suppose to be delivered today.
It was located 12 miles in Hutchins,TX, from my location in Dallas yesterday, now it is in Houston to be delivered Monday. This is after talking to fedex customer service yesterday for 90 minutes. USPS is not even that bad. UPS all the way from now on.
So when you order from Amazon, you have to option of which delivery service you can use. This is the third time in the last 6 months that fedex has changed the date to be delivered.
I live in a condo complex and redex just drops everything off at the front of the complex. UPS brings it in and leaves it at the door.
