A seller dropped my package off at a ground ship center in Lewiston ID. At the end of the day it turned out it was either slightly too heavy or large for the “ground”parameters & needed to go “freight”.

Apparently the divisions do not work together and barely cooperate. After numerous calls & transfers, I thought it was handled until I did not get a revised COD quote. After calling customer service & working out an acceptable quote with a quote confirmation, the San Diego Frieght Office refused to honor it & wanted to extort over $900 out of me to get my package. (I have been in the auto parts business most my life & have shipped several much larger & heavier packages including motors cross country for far less.) It took me several more hours on the phone to again resolve the issue before I could pick up my package at Will Call.

In my opinion the company is way too big & bureacratic & does not care about customer service. I will never use FedEx again - period!
