My company shipped 3 boxes to Berlin, Germany (to the Berlin Parliament) on Jan. 16 via FedEx International Economy.
They were supposed to arrive by Jan. 22. Two of the boxes didn't leave FedEx's Memphis facility until Jan. 22, and as of today (Jan.
23) are sitting in Customs in Berlin. The third box has not yet left the US! There is no excuse for this gross incompetence.
At least they said they'd refund the $500+, but that doesn't remedy the situation. The events for which we shipped these boxes begin on Sunday, 1/26, and it will be a big embarrassment if our packages do not arrive in time (and it certainly seems unlikely that the third box will, in fact, make it in time.)
Monetary Loss: $300.
