FedEx - Let the picturers speak for themselves
The claims department blamed the company by saying the box was inadequate. The driver says he left it at my door.
As you can see the box is on the ground and down the steps instead of up the steps. The box is open with packing material plainly insight. It appears the driver drop the package and drug it across the yard and tore the box in the process. And he was too lazy to carry it up the stairs.
The items was damaged and instructions missing. I am single 69 yo lady who had to pay someone to get it up the stairs and into the house. I had to pay for the instruction booklet to be downloaded to me. fedex is blaming the company.
The company says fedex is at fault for package handling. I am the only one paying for their laziness. Claims refuse to make it right after over a month. It looks like every Christmas fedex has a problem with delivery.
I am going to get a video and send it to the tv station next time since pictures are not proof enough for them. Maybe they like it better when they are seen on the 6 and 10 news.

That box looks like any box that comes with that type of product. They are not packaged good enough to handle the trip they make.
Sauder packs the same way. As does Mainstay. Also, I have this exact piece, and there is no instruction book included. There is a one page instruction in the box.
As for paying someone to get it up the steps, that is a heavy as *** box. Those drivers are not required to carry heavy boxes up stairs and into your house. In fact, they are not allowed to enter your home period. So you would still have had to get someone to bring it in.
They are required to leave it for you to carry.
If you can't pick up heavy boxes, don't order heavy stuff.
UPS is the same by the way.
As for your FedEx driver, as long as you get your package, what they do in their truck is none of your business. They are allowed to talk on their phone, even yell at someone.
These pictures don't prove anything about Fed Ex. This package could have easily been drug around by anyone in the neighborhood after delivery. If you can't be there when your package is delivered, this is the chance you take.
Ya, you keep sticking up for Fed Ex and let their drivers do what ever they choose. I would go with UPS any day over Fed Ex.
You shouldn't have to be home to see that the package is delivered as it should be. We had a delivery the other day and the driver pulled up, sat in the truck on her cell phone yelling at someone for a good three minutes. She didn't see me watching but when she finally got off the phone, I asked her who won that argument. All she could say was, "Sorry!" Not a very professional outfit.
I've done business with UPS for years and they have very well trained personal. Just saying!
Agreed. My UPS driver brings all heavy packages up the steps and to my door on his own without being asked. FedEx never has the same driver in the area and they don't give 2 sh*ts what happens to customers items
