Waiting on a critical delivery. They had not shown up when we had to leave so we placed their signed Shipment Release Authorization form on our door.
Received a notification several hours later that the delivery failed because we were not home. Called to resolve issue. They said the delivery attempt was at 9:37 when we still home. They also said that the driver scanned a door tag and left it.
There was no door tag, neighbors never saw a truck and our foyer looked pristine. Our three Great Danes normally destroy it when the doorbell rings. FedEx obviously went to the wrong house but won't own it. Numerous calls to resolve and all we get is that the package will be delivered on Tuesday, three days from now.
Told us the contractor would call us to try to make arrangements and never heard anything.
Went up one level at their Customer Advocate center and could not get passed to another supervisor. Will never use FedEx for anything important I have to ship.
