Scheduled fed ex freight pick up in NYC for a client's product. Day 1 somehow the order disappeared from their board, we rescheduled for the next day.
Day 2, called and confirmed we were good for the pick up, got confirmation but they still did not show up. Spoke with multiple people and was told it was too late in the day to schedule a new pick up?!?! Day 3, confirmed twice and still no pick up. Again I spoke with a number of people and a supervisor by the name of Jose Santana in NYC.
Jose told me they outsource freight and to call their vendor to resolve this?!?! That's right the fed ex supervisor told me to call his vendor and fix it myself. I am paying fed ex not their vendor. I can not express my level of disgust.
Jose Santana knows nothing about customer service and should not be supervising anyone. Apparently Jose's boss Nick Sampler is not available to talk to customers.
