Never ship to the Philippines with FedEx after 3 months of being lied to and having to hire a lawyer in the Philippines my package was finally delivered by FedEx. I spoke with managers and so called CEO Assist Tanya Lawrence (nasty useless person) who could only say its a customs issue.

I asked over and over again for them to call area and regional managers in the Philippines to get this resolved and all they could refer to was the time difference. Being an ex DHL customer Service employee I know this is a crock of @#&*. The real issue is that the employees in the Philippines are lazy liars and good for nothing.

My company is PEZA registered which allows duty free shipments but the Philippines ignore this fact. The icing on the cake is that FedEx refuses to refund my shipping charges how dare them, shame on you FedEx.

Monetary Loss: $210.

Location: Orlando, Florida

Hi there.Nascam din ako ng delaying tactics ng Fedex na to.They purposely delay your package sa warehouse nila to accumulate warehouse fees + custom delays which they will charge custom fees on the package. In the end mas mahal pa yung babayan mo kesa sa package mo. Now if you dont pay them then you will loose your package, sa kanila na iyon. It´s a big scam. The management should deal with this.

I agree to the comments here. I hope that the DTI or concerned agencies take notice of the SCAM of FEDEX .

Ang laki na nga ng babayaran mo pag order mo ng item, then pag dating dito sa Pinas ang dami pang SCAM na pinag gagawa ang mga buwayang mga empleyado ng FEDEX. #raffytulfoinaction

Philippine DTI needs to be made aware of this, as a resident, I'll look into it. I had no idea is was pervasive problem.

You can email ur complaint with consumercare at dti.gov.ph email. We did the same and they acted on our complaint the same day. Take a photo of all your evidence including the OR they issued you

Wednesday, October 28, 2020. FedEx charged me P576.80 for "customs duty and taxes" only to reveal later that it was a lie, the charge was for storage.

I had to ask three times before they sent me their bill, I'm sure they didn't want to expose their lie.

My complete phone number was on the documentation from the shipper in Taiwan, but FedEx miscopied it, I suspect intentionally so that they could charge storage fees. FedEx refuses to break down the charges to show the daily charge and the daily rate.

Hi, can you tell me what did you do? Did you still paid them? Thanks

We paid them 2k plus. Then raised complaint with consumer care with dti and fedex complaint email Suzanne-marice.ravina@***.com They only agreed to refund the storage fee (but still did not break down how they actually calculate that).

But refused to refund 576 - which according to them is for "local charge". I am now disputing that

We were also charged that way. Pls email consumercare@***.gov.ph and cc to the complaint email of fedex suzanne-marice.ravina@***.com

Yes they lied and they make it longer in delivery to get additional taxes for storage . When they finally came to deliver the goods I told them going to *** . The additional taxes was 3x the price of the goods

FEDEX is the WORST EXPRESS SERVICE PROVIDER you'll encounter in Philippines.

So you think that by ordering something in the U.S. and then having it shipped to your country will make you save a lot of money?

Think again. I had purchased an item that was 300$ worth and let's classify that as jewelry (it'll be important later). The total bill alone from Myus was $353.00 (it was a handling fee and priority shipping). I thought no problem, that's still considerably low for the item where I'm from so I decided to push through.

That was my mistake. The item had arrived to my country (Philippines) and guess what, they called me and said that I had to pay 10,910 Php (~220$) for customs, duty and taxes. I wanted to get an explanation and even said to the lady I was talking to that it was a bit too much and it was more than half (66%) of the actual item, but all she could say was "Jewelry kasi siya"(It's because it is jewelry). So all in all I had to pay almost 30,000 Php in total (~600$), which is 7,000 Php (140$) more than what the item was priced here.

It was my expensive mistake. Please please please learn from me and my impulsive and poorly researched mistake. FEDEX IS A SCAM and they will get you when you've waited so long for your item to arrive that you just want it to the point that you're willing to pay any price they throw at you. Unless it's a life or death situation, or if you want to get scammed and lose your money THEN DO NOT USE FEDEX.

I REPEAT LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS AND DO NOT USE FEDEX. and P.S. if you think I'm lying or don't believe me, why don't you try looking at the FEDEX website and look into their customs clearance- I assure you will not be able to calculate that tax on your own. I tried to look at many reviews and other sources only to find that there was no definite answer.

And mind you Fedex does this on a daily basis- you want reach them through a live chat service? Don't bother because their virtual assistant is useless.

I ordered a bangle bracelet from DH.Gate in China and paid $11.50USD for the item and $19.16 for shipping via FedEx to Angeles City, Philippines. When the item finally was delivered 3 weeks later (China to Angeles) I was charged a Warehouse Processing/Handling charge, P420 pesos, Individual Entry Form fee P95 Pesos, Importation VAT P448 & P61.80 pesos, total P1,024.80 Pesos (approximately $19.71USD).

I ended up paying a total of $50.37USD for an $11.50USD item.

I find this outrageous! JEFF EVANS Angeles

I'm giving the relations team a week to respond. We will go live on YouTube.

Just maybe, they'll take away logos from corrupt franchisees. If you're victimized and would like to see the changes they'll make, I'll send you my channel vlog titled"FedEx giftnap for ransom" .

Let's give them a week to fix this. I was charged storage for a package not for storing but for delivering:) email dewsturbo@***.com if you want my vlog link next week.

Okay, now my refusal to pay the storage and handling fee Pinoy version was forwarded to collection. If this shows to my credit score, they'll get a lawsuit for delivering my mom's credit card copy to the wrong address plus they smashed the cheap make up because I refuse to pay ransom my own gift to my poor mom check https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mYNALyJxjZU What a way to suffer. FEdex should be banned for international package deliveries if they can't straightened partners corrupt ways

We blasted the campaign and reached 15k all over the Philippines and FedEx US corporate office to stop citizens from getting scammed. They have nonsmart CEOs. They can become US based only if they don't straightened these heartless practice.

Imagine bought a 5 dollar radiator caps for my Jeep. Shipping cost me 15 dollars via fedex.

Not bad right?

But upon receipt, fedex is charging me 1,120 pesos (almost 20) for fees, half of which is the storage fee for 2 effin days. Shipment was received last Sat and they *** cleared it at customs only Wed morning.

Got a text message from FEDEX today: "GOOD DAY! THIS IS FROM FEDEX MANILA WOULD LIKE TO INFORM THAT YOUR SHIPMENT FROM US W/ TRCK#xxxxxxxxxxxx ALREADY ARRIVED IN MANILA.

INFORMING YOU AS WELL ABOUT THE LOCAL PROCESSING FEE AMOUNTING OF PHP 576.80 TO BE PAID UPON DELIVERY. PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR PAYMENT. THANK YOU".... I was wondering why I had to pay when I am the recipient..

I've never experienced this with other shipping companies. So I searched and found all these complaints.
