Current management, top, mid, or lower are not doing their job supervising the workers and how they manage distribution and delivery with a blind eye. Some years back my neighbor had a delivery in the early morning, I also had a delivery; but in the afternoon. I asked the driver if my package was onboard the truck. It was, but would be delivered in the afternoon.
This was during the gasoline "shortages." He returned in the afternoon around 4PM for the delivery. Short sighted or just *** FedEx Business Operating Model. The times where FedEx reported undeliverable due to wrong address, which was the correct address. The street was divided by the freeway years ago and the driver failed due diligence.
In the end it was delivered eventually, but with delays. I've had other deliveries scheduled for Saturday delivery which FedEx notified me by email as such, but was delivered the following Monday instead. Their own website states as such, but their phone bank denies this aspect. Perhaps the only solution to their current bureaucratic system would be a class action lawsuit.
My online and usual, ordering question, if one can be posed, is who the shipper is. If its FedEx I decline making the order. It's catch 22 if there is no contact with the seller and it turns out to be my nemesis FedEx. If the catch 22 seller uses FedEx there will be no further ordering from that seller.
In the case in the above online order straight through driving is 33 hours, Not 12+ days. I also ordered on the same day from another, a heaver item which came by UPS ( ordered May 1st delivered May 5th). UPS has, although not as bad as FedEX, problems also. 12 pounds verses 0.5kg; the later would be better served by USPS in my view.
Just today 12 May 2017 2PM, my neighbor had a delivery from FedEx.
This is unbelievable, they could have delivered my 0.5kg package!!!! Why is FedEx (still) in business????
