I ordered a pair of boots from an online retailer, and sent them to my son, as a "welcome home from deployment" gift.

FedEx online tracking says they left a door tag, yet the apartment office says FedEx didn't log any deliveries that day.

I've made 3 calls to FedEx, with each call resulting in an apology, a promise to investigate, and a return phone call for an update. Nothing has happened.

FedEx does not keep their word.

I've learned that when ordering through an online retailer, demand signature service, or request a shipping company you trust.

If they can't provide that, use another source.

Monetary Loss: $129.
