I waited at home for two days for a FedEx delivery. Each evening, I went to the building lobby and found a 'Missed You' door tag. Nobody rang a bell. Two other tenants got door tags instead of shipments, too.

I asked FedEx to send the package to a local pickup point a mile from my home. The next day I get a voice message telling me the package is at a pickup point TWENTY FOUR MILES from where I live.

I call FedEx, they promise to reroute the shipment. Next day, another voice message saying the package is still 24 miles from my home. Another call to FedEx, another promise to reroute. Third day, ANOTHER voice message saying the package is STILL at the location 24 miles from home.

Finally I call the pickup location, and they tell me they NEVER had a package for me. I then call the pickup location near my home, and learn THEY have been holding the package. I now have ONE DAY to pick it up or it gets returned.

When I pick it up, I explain about the voice messages I got. The store clerk (not a FedEx employee) says they've had DOZENS of irate customers who FedEx told to drive to distant locations only to find no package waiting.

Each time I called FedEx, BTW, they blamed ME for the problem.
