Two packages with statues including one large statue and two smaller statues were packaged and shipped by Fed Ex in Denver, Colorado. The large package was insured for $500.00 and the smaller package was insured for $200.00.

When the packages were received in Florida, the delivery person told my mother that the packages were probably damage. Was he RIGHT...the box was four inches shorter, the large statue was demolished and the two smaller statues had a head decapitated as well as flower decorations broken off. Fed Ex states there is no damage and because we don't have an invoice to show their value they can't honor what we insured them for.....REALLY!!!!! Where is that written or mentioned?

If the packing office felt they were over-insured they should have stated so.

The amount these were insured for was what was paid for ten years ago...I guarantee you the price is much more than that now. NOBODY listens, they DON'T call back and they DON'T honor their insurance agreement!!!!!!
