sent two boxes of used clothing to Canada -paid for all shipping customs and fees -recipient in Canada informed that she owed fees and customs -she could not afford - one box arrived at her address -the other sent back to me - the items in the boxes were divided out -first box had top part of suits -second box the bottom parts -seeing only top parts which were useless without the rest those were then given to charity - full shipment now useless - approx. 10 hrs on telephone innumerable 'I can/t/don't resulted in the possibility that I could be forgiven the bill for the return of the second box - two boxes fully paid for -divided ruining the shipment =then bill me for mistake=no info on insurance only for physical damage not incomplete delivery resulting in zero value=fed ex has one less customer which will be of no importance to fed ex traking #393235****64

User's recommendation: be careful -even asking if all is complete won't ensure success.

Product or Service Mentioned: Fedex Ground Delivery Service.

Monetary Loss: $669.

Preferred solution: amount insured for -no info that it applied only to physical damage (500) shipping fee (168.20) no bill for fed ex error.

FedEx Pros: Caller center executive shoul give write information, Ground shipping, Office personnel.

FedEx Cons: Shipment made worthless -billing for fed ex error.
