On December 29, 2012 I shipped very important immigration papers to my son in Ecuador, at the Queens office of FedEx.
I was originally billed $ 103.00
Next Monday was December 31, I still wanted to verify tracking information and found that my priority shipment left NY,it would make sense it went to Ecuador, instead it went to an office in central US two days later to FL. By January 4th it reached Guayaquil, were it got handed to a third party agency that took 2 weeks to deliver this time sensitive material .
The problem is I was never told about the 3rd party company, and the papers left US too late.
I guess that is why, in a sort of guilt recognition, FedEx is now billing my only $84
