After reading other complaints, I don't feel so bad.
I had a package not delivered by Fedex, and several irregularities involving critical medical supplies from the VA. I contacted the BBB in Memphis, the city of Fedex headquarters.
I wanted a reimbursement for the goods, which I did not get. FEDEX called it "consequential" damages. I indicated to the BBB that I was not satisfied.
FEDEX's further response was entirely fiction. The BBB closed the case without any opportunity for me to challenge FEDEX's statements, and will not contact me again.
Ater looking at other complaints, I feel reinforced in my belief that FEDEX has a stock list of excuses, takes one look at the delivery site, and if it fits any of the excuses, that is it for that delivery.
