I ordered trim panels for an old pickup that were shipped Fed-Ex from Fl on January 7, 2007 heading to IN. Following the tracking number this package ended up in Ellenwood, GA on January 9, 2007 and when no movement was shown within a week, I contacted Fed-Ex to find out why my package was sprouting roots in Ga.
The box was about the size of a card table and approx. 5 inches thick. Now it's January 19, and no delivery in sight, apparently lost. If, as Fed-Ex advises, no package is moved without being clocked on handheld computer, what happened to my package?
Employee theft? And I understand that all "unclaimed" packages are eventually sold by Fed-Ex. The *** with the "we are just human" argument. I understand how a small package could be lost.
Mine has cleary been stolen by a Fed-Ex employee.
Very, very poor service.
Monetary Loss: $160.
