Fedex called and emailed to tell me when my package was coming. Waited all day. It came the next day. On-line tracking was useless, since there was no way to know if the package was stuck somewhere or if they just hadn't updated their site. Emailed customer support and they gave me all sorts of responses about their processes -

"FedEx tracking information is updated to reflect each new scan of your package. Update times vary depending on the destination and location of each package. All scans are local time. You can receive up-to-date information from the Web site if you track your shipment periodically. There is typically a slight time lag from when the package enters the FedEx tracking system, to when it is transmitted to the Internet tracking system."

Told them OK, so what does that have to do with my package not coming the day they specified and got their canned response about their scheduling process, as if that had anything to do with the fact that I waited all day on the day that THEY scheduled delivery.
