FedEx - Smartpost not very smart. It's extremely slow!
I purchased an item on Ebay. The seller decided to send the item using Fed Ex smartpost.
Anyways the package was sent from Colorado and sent to me in California. Well the first 4 days the item sat around at a sorting hub in Colorado and didn't move according to the tracking. On day 6 the Fed Ex system showed the item left and arrived at the major hub in California. This hub is where many items arrive from all over the world.
Anyways the USPS still doesn't have the item and Fed Ex isn't sure when the item will be delivered.
What's funny is that this major hub where it arrived in California is only a few miles away from me.
Fed Ex smartpost is the worst choice for sending merchandise. I have received items sent from Overseas that I purchased the same day as items sent by Fed Ex and those arrived quicker coming from Germany or Europe than items in the United States sent with this awful shipping method.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

You want free shipping….you got it!!! LOL
Package arrived at sorting center 30 miles from my residence where it stayed for 8 days ‘forwarding to USPS’. You can usually expect SmartPost shipments to take an additional 4-5 days over say an ox cart, but this last one was exceptionally bad.
Consistently slow, will no longer purchase items if SmartPost is the only shipping option. May be cheap for the shipper but my cost usually doesn’t appear any cheaper than USPS or even UPS ground.
