Called back at 12:40 today just to be told there is a 48 hour tun around for calls to be returned. Another 2 days for the package that was supposed to be here YESTERDAY. If I have to drive to their sorting facility I will.

I recently ordered a new enlarger timer for my darkroom and it was shipped via FedEx and required a signature. I kept up with the tracking info (I have had previous issues with FedEx getting my package to one city and it sitting there for 3+ days.) and today it says it was delivered at 1:59 pm. I was home and there was no knock on the door, nor did the doorbell ring. There wasn't even a slip on the door that they had "missed" me. The tracking site says it was signed for by "RMCCLAN".

I called FedEx at about 12:30 AM (I work nights) and the woman on the phone confirmed the address, and was not familiar with "RMCCLAN". She put some information in somewhere, and is contacting the facility it shipped from locally and have the drived questioned as to the location of my package. Now all I can do is sit back and wait. If I do not get my timer tomorrow, there will be a very irate call

It it freaking ridiculous that A) they didn't knock B) didn't ring the door bell C) leave a "we missed you" slip D) had someone else for MY package.

It may be only $30, but it isn't the first time I have had issues with FedEx, and it's the fact that I cannot make any new prints until this is resolved
