I will start by saying you don't always know what you are getting with free shipping. I had the option of selecting a couple of major brand names for shipping but Fedex was the only one that was free. And it makes sense why. Fedex has a partnership with USPS where Fedex will logistically fullfill an order but ships to your local USPS site and then they proceed with the final delivery of the product. They have the absolutely worst ground service ever. If they not just leaving your package on the front door steps without knocking on the door or lying saying they delivered it just to go home. Y'all really need to talk to have a meeting with the drivers y'all hire. I don't care about coming to the facility to pick up my package but don't lie and say it was delivered when I don't have it.

I live in a manufactured home community on Rundberg Ln in Austin Tx. The FedX rep that delivers packages here never leaves notices that the package delivery was attempted. He/She leaves the package at the office because rather than deliver to the house. Our home all have numbers and there is a large map at the front gate showing home locations but this person is lazy. I spoke with Amanda with FedEx, since I still have not received my child's Christmas gifts two days after Christmas. When I called on yesterday, I was assured my package would be delivered on Friday, 12/27/2013. However, when I checked the website it said that the package was at the station awaiting me to pick up. I was charged $61.00 to ship a package less than 1 pound across the country. When I called fedex to complain about the outrageous charges, I was informed that if they aren't told how to ship a package it automatically goes "OVER NIGHT AIR" now for the good part. The package was pickup on 2/15/2012 and it did not deliver until 2/20/2012. I realize I'm old and probably senile but someone explain why over night air takes 4 days. I know... Read more

My wife was driving home north on Jollyville Road in Austin, TX on July 26, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. going the speed limit when she was suddenly tailgated by Fedex truck No. P8310. Attempted to send a gift ($28.00 T-Shirt) to a young man in Ontario Canada. Sounds easy? Well, apparently its not so easy for FedEx. I went down to the FedEx store in Austin TX on June 20, 2011. I cannot beileve I cannot have a choice of shipping. Fed Ex cost me almost $500.00 last Christmas and doesn,t care because I'm a nobody to them. I will never use Fed Ex until they make things right, but they don't care about the little man anymore. I have used both UPS and FedEx for items ordered on the internet. Lately FedEx can't seem to find my house after no problems with this for 20 years with any delivery service. I live in Seattle on a street that has existed for 40+ years. My address is easily found on any map or map search software. I alway track my purchases online when possible. The site said when delivery would be made, that it was in the delivery vehicle. I stayed home all day and finally in the mid afternoon they updated the site to read 'no attempt made, delivery scheduled for following business day'.
