So frustrated with FedEx ! Large 19th century oil painting shipped from Florida to Virginia was supposed to arrive December 31st. Waited all day, but it never arrived. Called and FedEx said the driver tried to deliver but it was a business address and the business was closed. It's a residence - NOT a business address, and I never left the house all day ! They said it would be redelivered on Saturday, but that if it hadn't arrived by 4 p.m. to call.
Waited at the house all day Saturday, still nothing. Called FedEx at 3:45 to let them know that it had not arrived, only to be told that there was no one answering at the local office and that they had probably closed early. Told that they don't deliver on Monday, but to call on Monday to confirm a Tuesday delivery. Called this afternoon - only to be told that it was now scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday. But they couldn't give a time on Wednesday, and that if it hasn't arrived by 8 p.m. to let them know. FedEx person was rude and unhelpful (earlier staff were at least nice ... unhelpful, but nice). I called back to complain about rudeness of the individual - was put on hold for 20+ minutes and then disconnected.
Now it will be a week after scheduled delivery - a week that a fragile painting has either been bumping around in a delivery truck or stored in a cold warehouse. Tracking doesn't show it being scanned since December 31st.
If it doesn't arrive on Wednesday my head will explode. Given the option I would never use FedEx again.
This reviewer shared experience about problem with delivery and wants this business to read this review and look into the issue (if any). The author is overall dissatisfied with FedEx. Reviewer wants customer support to reach out to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.
