On 10/30 I paid for 4lb package from Northern California to someone at an established business in Oregon (that has regular FedEx deliveries). The printed receipt and subsequent tracking showed an expected delivery on 11/1 by 11:59pm.
As of 7AM the tracking indicated the package was out for delivery but was not delivered with excuse #1 'Incorrect address' - two hours later the excuse #2 was 'cannot locate receipient/ scheduled for next day. It was not delivered on 11/2. At 8am on 11/3 it was 'out for delivery' - excuse #3'local weather delay - delivery not attempted. I asked for the package to be returned so that I could UPS it.
I asked for a full refund since FedEx could not deliver on their promise to do so. I was told that after I received the package I could akplyh for a refund and they would make a determination. John A from corporate did phone and apologize somewhat, but did not give me any reassuarances.
What a way to do business. My advice is to skip FedEx and use USPS or UPS.
