Trobbles to get my package at FedEx
Fedex disappeared with my package I was at an academic congress and I got a business book as a gift. This company sent me the FedEx book and emailed me the tracking code # 738437****45.
FedEx tried to deliver at home three times, but I was not at home because I was working. FedEx did not leave my package at home because I needed my signature. On the third attempt, FedEx left a Door Tag on my door saying that I could pick up my package at FedEx located at 1701 Hawkins Blvd, El Paso, Texas. And at this Door Tag is saying that the operating hours of FedEx Located at 1701 Hawkins Blvd.
is Saturday from 0:00 am to 0:00 pm. That is, it is open all day. Detail: This place is on the other side of the city, far but far from where I live. When I get there on Saturday, the place is all closed.
I checked into another FedEx post on Montana Ave. and I spoke with an attendant who checked my package number and instructed me to call FedEx and ask them to drop off my package at another FedEx post nearest mine house (North Mesa). On this occasion, the clerk gave me another tracking number # 770268****32 On the phone, the attendant said he would send my package to a nearby station. However, on Monday morning, when I check to see if my package was already available at a FedEx station closest to home, I see that my package has been shipped to the place of origin.
Only the company that sent me is in Seattle, WA. And my package was shipped to Memphis, TN (# 770268****32). When I contact the company that sent me the gift book, to check if the book returned there and if they could send me back, the company informs me they have not received any book back. And that tracking number # 738437****45 says the book is still under way here in El Paso, TX.
When I call FedEx to find out where my package really is and how I pick it up, the attendee says my package is in Memphis and that for them to send me again, I need to pay $ 20.00. Which is absurd since I won the book for free and the cost of the book is less than 20.00. I did not know I needed a subscription to receive the package. But if I was not at home, the package should be available at a FedEx post near my house waiting for me to pick up the package.
But besides sending the parcel to the FedEx station as far as possible from home, I was still informed of an opening hours saying it would be open. I needed to get 3 buses to get there. And when I get there, the place is all closed. And now, I find out that my package went to Memphis, TN, and that I need to pay $ 20.00 to get my package back.
How absurd.
What a lack of consideration. Neither them knows why my packed goes to Memphis, TX.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $20.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
FedEx Cons: Do not wait i pick up my packed in a fedex branch, Charge me usd 20 to return my package from memphis, Was not open in the time informed on the door tag, Have sent my package to memphis, Do not have left my packet in a fedex branch near my home.
