I had a package sitting in the local warehouse (less than two miles away) for three days and they would not deliver it until the 7th day simply because the person who shipped it didn't pay the extra for two- or three-day delivery. The package was shipped from San Diego to Reno and arrived overnight, but it sat it the warehouse until the maximum delivery time had expired.

The tracking page on their website even showed it was not scheduled for delivery until the end of the 7th day (the very end of the day). It could have, and should have been delivered the very day it arrived in Reno.

What nonsense! I will never use FedEx again!

so... you are upset that the service your shipper paid for and expected should have been faster? why not request expedited delivery in that case?
